Stakeholders and partners of the West Africa Seed Program (WASP) met from 25 to 27 March 2013 in Saly, Senegal to discuss the activities to be undertaken by stakeholders and partners in 2013.

This meeting allowed participants to increase their understanding of WASP and its concept and methodologies. After discussing the major activities, among which the development of a communication strategy for the program, the need to emphasize the regional nature of the program, the urgency to create alliances and the creation of the West African Seed Council have been addressed, the participants reviewed and approved the 2013 annual work plan and budget for the WASP program.
